Favourite Geek? This is pretty tough.
Actually, it’s not… It was kinda cemented a while back. My favourite geek has to be a guy called Darren Kitchen… Host of weekly podcast Hak5 which I quite enjoy, hacker in the “old school” sense of playing with things to make them do new, fun things and general do-er of nerd things and taker upper of projects.
My favourite project of his arguably has to have been:
Hack across America… After losing his job as sysadmin on America’s Atlantic coast, he sold up his house, packed some belongings on his beloved motorbike and set off across America, staying with fans of the show and exploring with the goal of getting to San Francisco, all the while filming and editing a series of the show.
Pretty brave, and pretty sweet.
